update on the Blizzard of '10;
http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=08230
Reports say I've gotten between 11 and 16.5 inches!! We hardly ever get that much in an entire winter, let alone all at once!
Leccy blinked off in the night, had to reset the breaker for the living room - good thing I have surge suppressors on the electronics.
Wind is very strong and gusty, and the snow wet, sticks to everything - lost 2 huge branches to the cedar tree in my front yard - now lying on my deck.
: p
My lovely neighbor sent a crew of 3 over to shovel a pathway on my deck, driveway and clear my van - not that I'm going anywhere soon! lol
The big dog had slow going in the yard, cut short her 'rounds' and slogged back into the house disgusted. The little manny didn't even try, just hopped out to the ramp, piddled quick and hopped back in!!
; )
Crossing my fingers and hoping I can stay online today. |

Whoa! That's some serious snow!
Lectrics stayed on down here despite wind warnings. We didn't even get that much rain, but the thunderstorm was unexpected this time of year. _________________ BTI Books

@ nec - that term courtesy of the prez. Or, more to the point, his speech writers.

@ G P - well, he'd better poop soon! I let him and the girl out on the front deck, where he'll pee, but no poops yet! All she wants to do is eat the snow (not the yellow sort) and look at me with disgust 'cause she can't do her 'rounds' in the back yard. She tries, but the snow is a foot in front of the door - she can get out, and down the ramp, but bogs down in the yard as the snow is up to her chest and even higher in places.
Everything is frozen solid as a brick, can't get out me kitchen front door, as the icicles dropped down in the night and froze to the deck - will open abt 5 inches. Good thing I have another one. Just to let the dogs out, not that I'm going anywhere, mind you.

our round 2 is here, we got 8" last night, then sleet this morning. it's been snowing all day, and it's not supposed to stop until midnight. i'm about sick of it. next year it's either buy a snow blower or move to florida. _________________ don't do me no good |
